Dean D.'s Review of Big Agnes Copper Spur UL 1 mtnGLO - 1 Person, 3 Season
This an older version - listed 90" long, 42" larger side x 30" wide smaller side, 37" at the peak in the middle. I am 6'2", so the 90" long was appealing. As set up in the living room, the interior floor measures 85" long, 40" x 28" wide when attached to the grommets. 37" high at the middle measures right. Maybe if is staked out really tight, it's makes 90" long, but I don't know. Still OK but tight at 85" long, so I'm keeping it. The tent lists 2 lbs. 10 oz. packed (not including the 3 AAA batteries you need). Easy set-up, the poles are one piece that fold out, and the ends are color coded.. Suspicious of the floor seam across the middle of the floor (short way), but no issues yet. This is a good lightweight free standing one man tent. The big door on the side is easy to get into. The mtnglo is cool, LED lights sewn into the high / wide side middle and side tent seams, light up the tent on the tall wider side. The 3 AAA batteries are installed in a small plastic case that fits in its little holster at the top of the tent. You have to remember to take the batteries with you when you go camping. If you are over 6'2", I would test this out before buying.
Pros:
Light
Cons:
shorter length, runs small
Best Used for:
3 season backpacking, trekking
Would Recommend:
Yes
