Most Helpful Positive Review Big Agnes Copper Spur UL1 Mtnglo
I love my new BA Copper Spur UL1 Mtnglo and here's why! It is the lightest backpacking tent I have ever used and one of the toniest for a 1 person tent! I live in Washington state so there are boundless opportunities for me to use this tent! I'm a true believer that you get what you pay for and this tent does not disappoint! Vestibule is roomy for all my gear and this tent paired with my Big Agnes Q Core SL pad works perfect. My big brother Matthew is always asking to borrow it but I told him to ditch his Walmart tent and hit up Campsaver and buy his own lol ! Super fast delivery will be doing...

Good to go

Very light, compact. No issues yet! I used this tent for ba clos king at the Grand Canyon. I had a larger and heavier military tent previously and this was much better. I strongly recommend this tent to anybody. Specially if it is on sale!

Big Agnes Copper Spur UL 1 Mtnglo

by Dean D., Verified Owner from NV, United States Written on January 5, 2018
This an older version - listed 90" long, 42" larger side x 30" wide smaller side, 37" at the peak in the middle. I am 6'2", so the 90" long was appealing. As set up in the living room, the interior floor measures 85" long, 40" x 28" wide when attached to the grommets. 37" high at the middle measures right. Maybe if is staked out really tight, it's makes 90" long, but I don't know. Still OK but tight at 85" long, so I'm keeping it. The tent lists 2 lbs. 10 oz. packed (not including the 3 AAA batteries you need). Easy set-up, the poles are one piece that fold out, and the ends are color coded.. Suspicious of the floor seam across the middle of the floor (short way), but no issues yet. This is a good lightweight free standing one man tent. The big door on the side is easy to get into. The mtnglo is cool, LED lights sewn into the high / wide side middle and side tent seams, light up the tent on the tall wider side. The 3 AAA batteries are installed in a small plastic case that fits in its little holster at the top of the tent. You have to remember to take the batteries with you when you go camping. If you are over 6'2", I would test this out before buying.
Pros:
  • Light
Cons:
  • shorter length, runs small
Best Used for:
  • 3 season backpacking, trekking

fantastic tent

The day I got my tent in the mail, camp saver was still advertising free footprint, but I did not receive one. They offered me a 10% off coupon instead when I asked why they were advertising something they knew they no longer had. Be aware that there is no free shipping on returns.
