Most Helpful Positive Review Great bag!
I used the sleeping bag over night on a Rafting trip on the New River. I am a big guy at 6'5'' 250lbs and I felt the bag had plenty enough room for me. If you think you will need more room the park series might be a little better. The one thing I would suggest is getting a sleeping bag liner as the inside is nylon lined and I prefer cotton lined bags. But other than that this is the most comfor

BA Quality

by Michael N., Written on April 23, 2016
It's a big Agnes and that name is synonymous with quality (bags and tents). I'm an AT hiker. I bought this for a summer trip into the backcountry of Yellowstone. I needed a bag I could count on without a test drive. I trust BA... They have never left me with buyers remorse. I just hope I made the correct choice temp wise for the environment I will find. I guess that's part of the adventure...

great moderate weather sleeping bag

by steven p., Written on January 3, 2016
I tested the bag last night in my hammock and it performed great. it was 40 degrees and raining. I slept in my tee shirt (didn't need a jacket) and was very comfortable. It actually exceeded my expectations but want to use it more before giving it a 5. this will definitely be my moderate weather bag. it compresses pretty good as well.

Works great as an "overbag".

by Maxwell B., from MD, United States Written on March 29, 2015
I haven't tested this by itself, yet. But, I used this as an overbag with the BA Wind Lip 28 inside of it. It got down into the low 20's, and I was fine. I sleep warm, but I think I could push this combo lower, especially with a bag liner, and/or thermals. Looking forward to testing this bag on it's own in warmer weather.

Wrong product shipped

by M.D., Written on September 10, 2013
The product was listed as the 40 degree bag, but what was shipped was the new 45 degree bag. I returned the bag but was stuck with the $13 shipping charge. This was my first experience with campsaver and it was not a good one.

Woke up on my sleeping pad for a change!

by GeoXplorador, Written on September 10, 2011
Very light and packs super small. Came with a stuff sack, and a bigger sack made of 100% cotton. Not sure why but it is cool. I use another 45 degree sleeping bag inside this one if it gets too cold. But this is going to be perfect for summer hiking by itself. Both sleeping bags plus a sleeping bag liner fit inside the stuff sack provided and weigh in at 2 and a half pounds, so it is super light b

Great Sleep System!

by ked_man, Written on September 10, 2011
I just got the tent in the mail and couldn't wait to try it out and slept in it in my back yard. with the pad inside the pocket it was the most comfortable night I have slept in a tent in my life.

I bought the compression girdle to go along with it which I recommend as it does not come with one. It packs down so small one could almost put it in a cargo pocket on your pants.

Big Agnes Cross Mountain bag

by M, Written on September 10, 2011
I bought this to replace the same bag lost by the airlines recently. I have used it extensively in all conditions. I need a bit of a warmer bag than the usual ratings, so I just add an inner layer when needed, usually when the temp is under 35. Up until then, I just add a hat, thermal underwear, and socks as needed. Together with the pad in the sleeve and the perfect sized pillow for me, sleeping

decent value

by Robert, from WESTERN AUSTRALIA, Australia Written on September 10, 2011
looks well made and is light and comfy. I didn't realize it doesn't have a hood so its a bit difficult to get a seal at the top.
