I bought this tent because I need a two person tent that won't break my back when I have to carry for two. As far as meeting that need this tent gets five stars. The drawbacks are in the actual size of the tent and the delicate fabric that is used to attain it's light weight.
Although billed as a two person, this is a spacious one person tent with a low, but adequate, ceiling. I wouldn't recommend it for anyone over 5' 10". Additionally, due to the standard Big Agnes profile, only one end of the tent allows you to actually sit up. This reduces the functional room available by a large degree as compared to many similar sized tents. The placement of pockets and a loft is well thought out though. The vestibule size is deceptive since there is no room to move gear to the side when entering, leaving or using the vestibule (i.e. cooking) and when the rainfly door is unzipped there is no weather protection. Two people are not going to be comfortable sitting out a storm with their gear and trying to do more than recline in their bags.
Site selection and maintenance is going to be critical with this tent. While I am not going to do any strength tests, it is clear that this fabric is delicate as well as light. The door zipper is very light weight and somewhat prone to snags. When fully staked out this tent is quite stable and weather tight. It does take a while to get it fully staked out though and two more points could be added for stability in wind along the rear spine.
All in all this is a good tent for moderate conditions for one to two people. While I can't say that I understand the "why" of it, I know that there is a price to be paid for less weight. If weight and weather tight design is of primary consideration this tent could be adequate but don't expect to avoid compromise. If you need space for two and gear you will be better served to look at some other comparably priced cuben fiber tents or something heavier.
