When I was researching this tent, I wasn't able to locate very many reviews. I took a chance and bought it. I am really glad that I did!
Took it out for it's first weekend with a winter storm in the forecast...brave I know. I figured if it holds up in 40-50 mph winds and a snow storm, it's a keeper. The first night I was very diligent about my guy lined and placed rocks on the stakes due to the high winds. The stakes that come with it are really nice. The guy lines have a really nice tensioner that was secure and user friendly. The sides fluttered with the high winds, but no damage or movement. The tent stayed put and endured the wind storm and eventual rain. The second night we had rain and a few inches of snow and the tent took it like a champ. I'm 5'7" and around 135 lbs and this tent was a perfect fit. I could sit up and move around in it but if I was much larger, I'm not sure that would be possible. I don't know if this is TMI but I used a Nalgene bag to micturate in and was able to kneel in a position (inside the tent) that was comfortable enough to complete the task without any spills. It kept me warm and dry. The vestibule fit my 45L backpack and my boots with ample room to crawl in and out. I like the gear pockets but with the high winds, my glasses fell out of the top pocket. Placed some gear on the sides and was still able to sleep comfortably. I am really a lover of free standing tents and I can't imagine a lighter, durable and better designed free standing tent ...
