If it wasn't for the ultralight weight, combined with a great sale here at Campsaver, I would not have purchased this tent. I am 5' 10" and the door is like crawling in and out of a play place at Mcdonalds LOL. Once in, you have to spin 180 so your feet end up at the bottom. And there is no room to sit upright without having your head literally wedged between the two walls of mesh. Side entry tents are much better (but of course heavier as well). That said, once comfortably in my bag, I had enough room to put my pack under my head as a pillow, lay a few things I need down one side, and a few things I don't need down the other side. The vestibule is large enough for my boots and pack. The quality is great. All in all, better than a bivy, and I believe worth the extra wind protection over a tarp. Anything else will be heavier, other than the platinum. But the platinum is all mesh and offers no wind protection. The pricing is insane as well.
