flycreek ul 1 tent
Perfect for lightweight backpacking trips… All you need, anymore for lightweight is too much. Better than a bivy sack..sets up fast but there are 11 stakes that need to be set which can be a pain but no big deal!

To small
As I am 6'2 this caused me to touch my feet and head. I need more room, I do however like the ease of putting up the tent for the first time in under a minute.

Light but hardly can be called free standing
This tent is tall and narrow so it needs more stakes than my ultralight Six Moon Designs trekking pole tent. It saves on weight by having very thin bathtub that I wouldn't put on the rocks without overpriced footprint. In addition, instead of having grommets for all attaching fly and mesh to the poles it has plastic clips. Perhaps this tent won a war in light design but at the expense of durability and ease of setup.

Disappointed
Not happy that it comes with a label stating

Ultralight option
Just returned from a self supported bike tour from Pittsburgh to Washington DC. This tent was an excellent choice for me, light, compact, and easy to set up quickly. Not a lot of extra space inside for items but for ultralight touring this fits the bill.

Don't buy if you are over 6 feet tall
I loved the tent, it is incredibly light and seems to be able to hold up to high winds, but I am 6' 3" and could not lay down in it nor sit up without hitting the top with my head. If you are a little shorter and don't mind being a little crammed, buy this tent for the weight and price.

Bad Ass tent
Don't let the light weight fool you. This tent is awesome. Holds up well in storms, waterproof and tough. When fully stakes down, the winds do not bother it in the least. I've really enjoyed this tent and have enjoyed the space saved in my pack as well.

I have taken it on
I have taken it on two rainy trips with no leeks and no complaints. A quick setup with plenty of room for me and my pack.

Packs small and featherweight
Getting older and wanted to drop more weight off the back. This is a great small tent. Can't really fit pack inside, but that's what a vestibule is for. Plus AMERICAN MADE!

Fly Creek UL 1 Tent
Excellent for backpacking--light weight (27 ounces) and good in price savings especially with the footprint thrown in. Good buy!
