Great UL tent

by KarlosJ83, Gear Expert from UT, United States Written on September 10, 2011
Great tent, superlight and easy to setup. stakes out well for wind and if you stake the sides out well its very roomy for one and plenty room for two. Has two minimal side pockets that are perfect for glasses/watch/headlamp.
Most Helpful Positive Review Great tent, but be aware of what you are getting
I'm leaving the review as 5 stars because I can't fault the tent for being what it is, which is a very compact, light, small tent. Just know that size specs don't actually tell the whole story. Because of the minimalistic design regarding the poles, it is actually smaller than the dimensions listed ...

Most Helpful Negative Review Fiddly Footbox
We recently used this tent on three overnight backpacking trips. The tent is very packable and lightweight, especially when split between two people. We got rain and sleet on the third trip and we were totally dry when in the tent. It is easy to set up the tent under fly to keep it dry. The quality ...

What took me so long?

by Robin M., from NE, United States Written on August 14, 2017
This is a great tent. The 2-person model gives me enough room to relax during passing showers (nicely dry) and the weight savings is a blessing. I should have bought this tent years ago (but then I wouldn't have the HV version).

Big Martha Fly Creek HV UL 2 Person, 3 Season

by Harold C., from PA, United States Written on July 27, 2017
Purchased 'Fly Creek' to Hike the 60 mille California Lost Coast Trail in Kings Range July 12th - 15th 2017... Very Light Weight with Ground Cover ... set up and take down very easy... packed easily in my pack next to the bear canister... I used it as 1 person tent so it was roomy enough to put backpack & gear inside alongside my sleeping bag with room to sleep... I am 6' 2 1/2" 36" waist and about 195'... watched the 100-400 billion milky-way galaxy one of the nights on the beach above the high tide level without the rainfly and again another nite under a mature sequios tree in a mosquito infected campsite without a single bite overnite counted dozens on the netting 'outside'... nice airflow too with fly on... it was recommended to me by my friend who hiked the 'LCT' with me... he has the previous model which he used to hike the 2189.1 mile (2016) Appalachian Trail 4 years ago... his still looks new... he liked the changes they made to this model...
and for full review disclosure I do not have any financial interests or have I received any products or any other interests with the manufacturers or CampSaver...

Highly Recommended

I haven't used it yet outdoors. Just did a quick setup in the house. Very easy to do, didn't even use the instructions. Plus it's super lightweight. I went with the 2 person just for some extra room. I think it will be a great tent.

not the best quality

by alexander r., Written on July 18, 2017
The tent is very light and easy to lug around. however, this may have required too many sacrifices: it feels very flimsy and the design is not done with the quality in mind. The strings easily break as they are too thin; the patch attaching the roof to the mesh came undone and so on. Unless you absolutely must reduce weight, i don’t recommend

Great tent

by Darron K., from ID, United States Written on May 5, 2017
may be a little small for 2 adults but I'm hoping to pack 2 kids in it easy and it's light enough they can carry their own tent now.

light small tent

by Steve C., from CA, United States Written on April 24, 2017
Great tent for traveling light and small. Only negative is that it is not self standing, needs pegs in ground.

I had great service and love the tent. If it wasn't for customs charging me an extra $90 I'd buy lots from your store. It was great fast service
