good tent I like it

by kaka, Verified Owner from HEBEI, China Written on July 13, 2018
It is really too light to lighten a lot of my burden, I do not have to carry such a heavy tent climbing, space design is reasonable, can't wait to try. This is the best present I've given myself.
I like it!

very good ................

by enzogonzalez, Verified Owner from Hong Kong Written on July 10, 2018
It's super light and strong, but expensive. It just arrived recently, but I really like how lightweight it is, and it's very easy to set up. It feels like it would be quite warm inside as well with the fly on and closed. You could probably fit 2 people as long as you didn't mind your feet getting close or touching. The front part of the tent seems quite spacious.

Good tent plus the price

by Ling, from CO, United States Written on July 8, 2018
It is light, has good quality. And it was on sale here when I was looking for a backcountry camping tent, so the price is good. I have not used it in the wild yet. I am not sure if I like LTD lights but it is cool.

Whole New World

by Rich, from HI, United States Written on July 3, 2018
Last time I was serious about backpacking I was in my 20's and my pack usually came in at 50 to 55 LBS with a 6lb tent. Then the kids came and we had a phase of Horse and mule camping where weight was no issue at all. Canvas wall tent? No problem just put it on the jack! Now in my late 50's and getting ready for retirement I want to go do some longer solo hikes so 50 LBS was a non starter. This tent was the start of shrinking the weight and size of my gear. Wow things have really changed in the last 25 years. So far only 2 nights in the tent but what a difference. Compared to my old tent no weight at all and it packs easily into a side sleeve on my pack. Fast easy setup. I think my old ground cloth is heavier than the tent!! I live in Hawaii and when it rains it's monsoon rain for 10 to 15 minutes. 2nd night out heavy heavy rain. Think 55 gallon drum of water dropped on your tent. The tent bowed and shook but stood up to it. I thought the center ridge pole would snap but it held up. Dry inside. Good tie outs on the fly really help channel it away from the interior. Also I thought the LED's would be a gimmick but they actually work pretty well. I got the 2 man tent and it is perfect for me and my gear. I don't have much to compare this tent too but for me so far this was an excellent purchase.
Pros:
  • Lightweight
  • Fast setup
  • freestanding
Cons:
  • None

Ultralight and spacious for one person

by Artemis, Verified Owner from FL, United States Written on July 3, 2018
I was looking for a lightweight one-person tent for backpacking and found this 2-person tent that was only a few ounces heavier and cost just a little more, but you get a lot more space for yourself and your gear. The material looks more durable than the other more expensive ultralight tents by Big Agnes and the color is not as “loud.” It would have been nice if there was a footprint included.
Pros:
  • ultra light
  • spacious for 1 person
Cons:
  • Expensive
  • No footprint included
Best Used for:
  • ultra light backpacking
  • single person

Nice tent for camping and hiking

Very lightweight. Easy to pack. Half weight compare to other tent. It has more space than old version. Maybe not lighter then tarp but it will be more protection in the windy and rainy day. This tent is also perfect for one man use.
Pros:
  • Lightweight
Cons:
  • None
Best Used for:
  • Camping
  • HIKING
