Big Agnes Fly Creek UL HV and HV mtnGLO 2 Tent Footprint
I bought this footprint to complete the BA flycreek HV UL 2, protect my investment in the tent itself and to allow me fly set up only when needed.
I usually use Tyvek, but this footprint provides the same protection at about the same weight. In addition to the weight , the footprint allow fly only set up for those days when it is raining or no bugs.

Exactly as advertised. Lightweight and very functional. Perfect to allow use of Rainfly only to reduce pack weight of your shelter. And although a small thing, I also like the dark color because it shows less soiling.

Lightweight and compact, perfect ground-cover for our Big Agnes HV UL 2 Fly Creek tent. Extends the life of your tent and also functions perfect as a light tarp for picnics, fast shelter set up, ect .

What can I say, it's perfect for warm weather use where you can leave the tent at home and just set up the foot print and rain fly. Ultimate stand alone ultralight! The whole system literally fits into a wide mouth water bottle making it easy to pack.

Its a real good idea to have this footprint to protect your tent from getting damages i tried to use something else to put under my tent since i didnt want to spend $70+ just for the food print, but is not the same!
I had to buy the footprint which was a good idea. Ultralight weight, perfect fit, protection, etc... worth it over all.
Pros:
Ultralight weight
Protects you tent from getting damage
Helps your tent to last longer
Cons:
Expensive
Best Used for:
Backpacking

This is a very well made footprint, but the material it is made of is very lightweight and would not provide much protection for your tent or sleeping pad on rocky or rough ground as you often encounter in Australia. I will be making my own much tougher footprint out of Tyvek.
