The first and the last family tent we will ever own!!! - Big Agnes Flying Diamond 8 Tent - 8 Person, 3+ Season

We have only had this tent for a week now and haven’t been able to camp with it yet. We have set it up in the park and Ohh my my what a beautiful tent. My wife couldn’t believe how small it packed down for an 8 person tent. Set up was easy. We took our time setting up the first time to make sure everything was done correctly. It was a breeze. Set up and takedown shouldn’t take you too long. Tons of room in this tent. We have a family of 5 and it will be large enough for all of us plus extra gear. The Rain fly makes this tent bullet proof, well actually rain proof but you get the point. I love the fact that there are multiple tie down points for the rainfly. This tent is the newer model that has the fabric wall to separate rooms that doesn’t have a zipper running down the centre of the wall. I would have preferred that over the toggle system from before. We received the footprint as a special gift with the purchase of this tent. I would say even if you have to pay for the footprint it is a smart purchase that will protect your investment. 5 Huge Bright Stars for this Tent. My Family and I are looking forward to camping with it for our first Family Camping trip in the next week.
