was looking for a tent that that was roomy and could handle the elements and I have to say I found it. Have had this tent for about 6 months and it has more than exceeded my expections. First off it is huge, it fits our queen air mattress and our 2 camping chairs and small table and still plenty of room. As far for weather have been in many storms and in 25 mph winds. We stayed dry, and the tent remained stable, no fear of anything breaking. It's easy to set up, takes 2 people, but easy. The vestibule is awesome adds a great space for additional storage. Was able to get the footprint and I highly recommend it, got mine for free from campsaver with the purchase of my tent I am very pleased with this tent and highly recommend it, if you can look past the price, it has been a great tent and I highly recommend it.

We have only had this tent for a week now and haven’t been able to camp with it yet. We have set it up in the park and Ohh my my what a beautiful tent. My wife couldn’t believe how small it packed down for an 8 person tent. Set up was easy. We took our time setting up the first time to make sure everything was done correctly. It was a breeze. Set up and takedown shouldn’t take you too long. Tons of room in this tent. We have a family of 5 and it will be large enough for all of us plus extra gear. The Rain fly makes this tent bullet proof, well actually rain proof but you get the point. I love the fact that there are multiple tie down points for the rainfly. This tent is the newer model that has the fabric wall to separate rooms that doesn’t have a zipper running down the centre of the wall. I would have preferred that over the toggle system from before. We received the footprint as a special gift with the purchase of this tent. I would say even if you have to pay for the footprint it is a smart purchase that will protect your investment. 5 Huge Bright Stars for this Tent. My Family and I are looking forward to camping with it for our first Family Camping trip in the next week.

My wife and I do a lot of music festivals, and we've been camping in a 4 person tent for quite a few years. This year my wife said she wanted a tent she could stand up in. After much research I chose the Big Agnes Flying Diamond 8. We just used it at Electric Forrest Music Fest in Michigan. It was great! I used a new queen sized mattress, a 5x7 carpet in front of that, and we were camping in style! Lots of room for all of our stuff, and we could both stand up in it, I'm 6 ft tall. It rained good one night, and we stayed 100% dry. I was afraid the rain fly would keep the air circulation down, but there was plenty of air going around. The tent is easy to set up. I've been to a couple of festivals where the weather got real bad - rain and VERY high winds, like you might find out on a mountain. My old tent held up surprisingly well, and we stayed dry. I wanted to make sure my new bigger tent would hold up well also under such conditions. After my research said this tent could be used as a base camp tent at Everest, I was sold. I haven't used it in such conditions yet, but after seeing it & using it first hand, I have no doubts it will hold up.

We recently bought this tent from Campsaver for camping with my wife and our two daughters 2 and 4. We could not be more pleased with the tent and the service from Campsaver. They even through in the foot print for free! The smaller end of the tent is perfect for our two little ones to sleep, while we can have privacy from the internal wall. The quality is fantastic and though not yet tested we have no doubt the tent will hold up to the elements. I set up the tent on my own in 20 minutes the first time and expect this will cut in half after a few times. Highly recommended!

Great value, fast shipping

Got this tent and had to put it up in the house right away to make sure I had all the parts and how to put it together. It did not come with instructions, but thank goodness I located a video of someone putting one together. Once you have don, it is a snap. Very roomy, will use the smaller side to put my gear in. Can hold the cot just fine. Seams are well sealed. Gave it four stars for lack of receiving the footprint with it. I called and they said that was just a promotion and they ran out. I felt they could have at least back ordered the footprint to send out later but they said it was an "until supplies run out" promotion. Wish I would have read that more clearly. Still all in all, good size, good structure, easy to put together (once you figure it out), would still recommend this tent to others. Sale price and "promo" clinched the deal on this purchase.
