Reviews & Ratings for Big Agnes Flying Diamond 4 Tent
— 5 reviews — Page 1
After reviewing car camping tents, i decided to purchase the big agnes flying diamond 4. this tent is well made, easy to setup and has a great deal of room especially for 2 (7x9 feet). the tent poles clip externally. the floor is a bathtub style. all of your gear will fit inside this tent. i will enjoy seeing the stars through the netting at the top of the tent. i also will take advantage of both front and back openings and vestibules. for its size, the tent is light weight and packs well in the suitcase style stuff sack. the only disappointment is that i must purchase or make a footprint. i d...

Hello,
Purchased this a few weeks ago and it's already been tested by mother nature in one overnight, soaking rain/thunderstorm. It stayed dry inside without any extra effort(seam sealer, etc),....as it should.
On the tent, I almost didn't buy this tent because of reviews on zipper issues. I will say this,... mine works 100% fine and I'm glad the purchase was made. This is a great tent. I put it up myself with ease.
A few things; READ the instructions on setup, specifically when to stake it out. Doing it right keeps the fly away from the body and keeps you dry. Secondly, this isn't a heavy winter coat, it's a BIG 4 person tent made from lightweight materials. Clean it when you're done and take care when using the zippers(or use common sense), and you'll be fine. This tent could easily sleep 4 adults and two kids. For me,....this is a 'glamping' 4 person tent that is actually terrifically functional.
I got mine on sale at Campsaver and am happy about the purchase.

The fly draped too close to the tent body and prevented air flow. There are only two small vents in the fly. These vents are seen in the pic on the front of the tent. There are no vents in back. The real vestible is small but can store boots. The corner poles were not supported well by the guy lines due to their angulation.
Head room and overall space inside are great. The materials are sturdy. It

I used this tent about three times. I found the ventilation poor. There are no vents on the rear of the tent fly, only two small vents on the front and one one each side. Combined with the way the fly touched the tent body near the ground, little air flow was felt. Condensation and lack of comfort were problems for me.
The hubs at the "Y" connection of the pole design had sharp edges that placed p
