First of all, the advantage of a double sleeping bag over single in cold weather is obvious (BODY HEAT!!). Second of all, any 20" wide sleeping pad will slip into the sleeves (we use exped inflatable down). We have used this bag year round this year, the latest trip in 30 degree weather at Yosemite.
