only tried it once but already in love. The tent is amazing. super comfy and quick to put up. I couldn't try it on bad weather yet, but the quality looks amazing

Big Agnes SLATER 2+

I'm 6'3" 290lbs and I have plenty of room head and toe in thus Big Agnes Slater SL2+.. plus wide enough to stretch my arms out! It has a high ceiling and is very light fir is size! Nemo and North Faces are too small for a guy my size. I'm looking forward to using this in Wyoming. Its WAY bigger than any other 2man tent ive ever been in!

First impressions

I bought this tent for a bikepacking trip to Iceland, I plant to go very light and not as bulky as other cycle-touring fellows. After a lot of consideration and review, I decided to buy the Slater UL 2+ tent because it is very lightweight, packs small and it seems sturdy despite the light materials.

I haven't tested yet in the field, so once I return from my trip I might add a few lines here

Surprisingly comfortable!

Bought this tent for 2 adults for backpacking. We are 5'10'' and 6'1'' so with the slightly wider and longer floor dimensions we did not have a problem with touching the ends of the tent while sleeping. Be aware the tent ceiling is sloped so only one person can change comfortably at a time. No biggie for us since sleeping comfortably is more important. Easy for one person to set up and take down. Packs small enough to easily carry inside a pack. Love the option to unzip the door to mesh for better ventilation. It can definitely be used without rain fly if you guy out the sides (you get more interior space this way). Since the material is ultralight be cautious with the zippers since any thin material can get caught in a zipper. Overall, well worth the money! Will update my review if I run into any issues.

Ul 2 person tent

After searching for what I think will be my perfect tent, I think I have found it. Fast set up very lightweight and so much room. It will be perfect for my journey on the appalachian trail. I strongly recommend this tent for room and comfort..
