Disclaimer: I've been using Big Agnes tents for over a decade in a variety of backpacking and camping situations, am very familiar with their design proclivities, and have been a fan of the brand.
I purchased this footprint with the matching tent for multi-day car camping with family members who need to use a cot and CPAP machine at this point in their life. I felt the footprint would be necessary because of the use of the cot and the pressure points it would create with its feet. Despite a pretty rocky / hard-packed ground we had to set up on, we didn't notice any undue wear to the tent bottom / footprint after multiple days of use with the cot / large humans sleeping on said cot. It's identical in construction to other Big Agnes footprints i've purchased, and a good value if you can get it on sale like I did. I always like the high-quality, stitched, drawstring bags the footprints come in, I end up using them for gear organization in my pack after folding the footprint into the tent bag with the tent.
