Most Helpful Positive Review Great bag
Tried it out for the first time . It went down to 5 deg. And I was as warm as can be. Excellent bag. Glad I bought it.
Most Helpful Negative Review Haven't put it to the test, but here are my thoughts:
Despite not having tested the bag out in the elements, I've used it at home on the floor a couple of nights, and here are my thoughts: A reminder to anyone looking at the BA bags. There is NO insulation on the bottom of the down bags, as compressed insulation does nothing to keep you warm. This i...

How Do it Know?

by Chris W., Written on October 12, 2016
Well, this is the first sleep system that I have ever owned.
It is amazing and truly different from a "sleeping Bag".
Comfortable and warm.
I am going to put it to the test in November , on a hunting trip.
We will see if it can keep these old bones warm.

BTW, I used this bag , on a 60 degree night and it was warm but NOT too warm... How does it know ????

Storm King 0 Degree Sleeping Bag

by Bruce T., Verified Owner from IL, United States Written on June 19, 2016
Received it the other day and I am very happy with the design and quality of the bag. I bought the long version, as I am 6'2" and 200 lbs. Fits me perfectly. Don't know about the warmth yet. I will try that out this fall in northern Canada.

Winter camping in Quebec

by Daniel A., from ON, Canada Written on March 14, 2015
It was -20 celsius and all I wore in the bag was my toque, merino long sleeve top, merino long johns and mohair socks. The end of my nose was the only part of me that was cold in the morning. Best danged system for the money known to date. BTW I have over 40 years experience with backwoods camping plus was a certified Outward Bound leader.

Comfy on the wallet and in the backcountry

by Kendall C., from UT, United States Written on January 28, 2015
I really like the Storm King bag because it's a little bit wider than the typical straight jacket feel of the superlight weight mummy bags. I kept warm while winter camping and the bag did not disappoint. The zipper did catch a few times when zipping but that seems to be the case with most bags. Overall it's a solid bag that I'd recommend to anyone.

Best sleeping bag/inflatable pad value anywhere

by Daniel A., from ON, Canada Written on January 27, 2015
You always sleep better knowing you didn't sped stupid money on a fantastic sleeping system. This sleeping bag has no insulation on the bottom, instead you slip your pad in the bottom section of the Big Agnes sleeping bag and it stays exactly where it should be. Hey, if you have either down or synthetic that's flattened under you it doesn't work. Duh! What isn't wasted under you is placed on to. Duh! What is on to drapes over the edge of your insulating pad that is held in place because of the sleeve under your sleeping bag. What part of this is hard to understand, especially after you wake up rested because you read this and smartened up and got this, the best danged system invented since sliced bread. Got it ?

Big Agnes Storm King. AKA Cozy Sack.

by Double Oh, from CA, United States Written on December 12, 2013
Bought this in lieu of the 15 degree lost ranger.
It was to replace another 15 degree cramped, synthetic, left hand zipper
Bag that I could not stand. I need room! This has it
I also could not stand the left zipper on my old bag. I like to be able to climate
Control my bag at night and the big Agnes gives me plenty of room to move and
Do that. I purchased the corresponding big Agnes
Pad to go w

It was cold

by Bigfoot, Written on September 10, 2013
It was -10 on my first night with this bag. It was not perfect but was what I was looking to have in a bag. Sleep is obscure but rest is the objective. I suspect warmer temps will make this the perfect bag for me.

I sleep on my side and decided if you sleep on your back it would be a great bag, on your side it is a good bag but not great.

Great Sleeping Bag Bad Temp. Rating

by Shane, Written on September 10, 2013
I really liked this bag. Roomy comfortable and space and weight economical. However know that the temp rating is not correct. I would call this a 15 degree bag. I did a 12 day trip with temps ranging from the teens to the high 20s at night and I needed to wear long sleeve clothes every night. On the coldest nights I needed medium weight fleece. I understand that 10 - 15 added to the rating i
