I have only set this up in the yard. It was easily set by myself but would be really easy and quick with another person. The materials and quality seem to be excellent. It was stable in a light wind. The shelter would provide adequate cover over a normal size picnic table and it is easy to enter the shelter. I think you could easily have four adults plus gear and stuff under the shelter comfortably, maybe more if needed. The 10 x 10' foot print is really large. The shelter does pack down to a nice size for storage. It is tall enough for a big person to stand under the shelter. Some reviewers have dinged the rating because it does not come with a side panel. I think most descriptions now are very clear that the side panel is an extra accessory. The only problem at this time (July 2019) is that Big Agnes under estimated the demand and sold out every side panel. They expect that side panes will be available in October 2019. The Three Forks Shelter is very functional without the side panels.

I would recommend this product. It can be very versatile for car camping, picnics and soccer and sports events when you want a little extra shade.

This shelter is light and breaks down to a small light package that’s easy to carry or stow away. I like that it is takes up far less space then an easy up and is far more convenient to carry around yet offer a good amount of shade. The trade off is that an easy up is going to have more durable legs that might stand up better to winds then the Agnes. Overall I think it’s a good trade off that works especially if you want to save space in your car.

Nice shelter, could set up easier

Used the shelter at the beach for a week and was able to easily put and take down myself, although it went much faster with assistance. A couple of the aluminum pole sections got bent in a nasty thunderstorm, but the shelter held up well as other pop-ups lay crumpled on the beach.

Haven't tried it on the field, but it sure looked good in the backyard. Looking forward to seeing it next to my tensleep 4! Camping! Camping!

Got it because of it's lightness and size when packed- great shelter on the beach. easy to set up and stow. Wish the bag had a carry strap. Other wise I would certainly recommend

I purchased this shelter to replace a standard pop-up canopy and this definitely fit the bill. First on setting it up do not feel afraid that you are going to break the canopy. The canopy is very tight with the poles. BA has a nice design that you do not need to feed the poles through multiple sleeves. I found out there are two clips on the bottom straps that will allow the canopy to be assembled and then snap the straps to stand it up.

Wow that delivery to Norway was quick! Excellent shelter, one side panel included in the bag and one extra. Will be using it between two tents for extra space.
