Big Agnes Wyoming Trail 4 Camp Tent - 4 Person, 3 Season
I was looking for a tent for camping for my wife, two boys (5 and 6) and I. We had one of those giant stupid dome tents that took way too much time to erect, weighed too much, let the mosses in, had plastic windows and was a nightmare to pack up and store, but my wife liked it because she could stand up inside. She didn't like the msr hubba hubba kind of thing when we went car camping cause she h
Just took it on its maiden voyage for 2 nights in the Mojave National Preserve, CA. (I ordered the tent on a Sunday with expedited shipping and it arrived as promised on Wednesday - good customer service/communication with e-mail/shipping/tracking info). I didn't see any assembly instructions, but it is easy to figure out from the picture if needed. I set it up myself on a windy day and had no trouble. If erecting it yourself, I recommend getting the footprint (extra). Although not mandatory, the footprint is helpful for grounding the poles. Once the sleeping modules are in place, you still have an open roof. This design feature allows you to stand "inside" the tent and pull the rain fly over (just clip one end down before pulling the material over) and provides excellent control in the wind. I love the versatility of the tent .. you can employ either one or both sleeping modules, while the rain fly functions as a shade shelter with flaps that form optional canopies. Or simply use as a stand alone shade shelter for any outdoor event. So much potential. The generous space in the middle provides privacy for changing clothes, etc., and a good place for cuddling a hot cup of joe with your companion(s) on a cold morning. So glad to have this one in my family of tents!

I already own a Wyoming Trail 2 Camp Tent which has proven great for Boy Scouting canoe trips. I have added this Wyoming Trail 4 to compliment it for extended family get-togethers. The very, very large center community area is a wonderful place to meet out of the sun or rain! Most highly recommended!
