Learning curve - Biolite CampStove 2 Bundle

Overall this product is very good and does what it says. It does take some practice, however. The instructions are just this side of awful. Watch videos to see the correct way to get the stove going correctly. I kept trying to build a fire like you would in a campfire. I.E. fire on bottom kindling on top and then add larger pieces once going. Instead, the stove should be filled with small kindling about 2/3 full and the fire starter on top. Let the fan do the work. Once I figured this out I had boiling water in minutes.
There is very minimal temperature control and you can't just turn it off and pack up and go. You have to let it burn out or have an ash can or a hole dug if you are in a hurry to get going.
