Quality but
I returned the item because I disliked the waistband; it's snug and given my intended use of this is for winter birding - where we often spend time seated, commuiting by car, that this waistband would be too tight and uncomfotable. If it had been a wider width I think it would've been fine. I'm unsure how someone skiing or some other winter activity might find this.
I also feel the size runs small. I tried on a medium and I wear a size 8 womens jeans. This fits more like a baselayer.
