I'm happy with my purchase. Clear upgrade from previous car camping lanterns (white gas and 4 D cells). New technology is great. LED, dimmer, 4 AAs, very stable, weighs in at 11.4oz, charger ready for NRG battery pack. And a very pleasant frosted glow. Love the dimmer.

The lantern has the option of being placed on its three sturdy legs or being suspended from it's hook.
The small size produces good light output with a well designed switch.

I use the Apollo lantern for camping, as a night light, and emergency power outage light. The design is both useful and aesthetically great. I like that it has legs so it can stand taller for better light output. I really like the dimming feature too. Very happy with this lantern. Highly recommended.

This is a great lantern for camping or using around the house- it's especially handy for extended power outages.
The lantern gives off a lot of light and the legs raise it so the light shines where you need it-table surfaces etc.; no more looking for something to put the light on. The dimming feature is great for saving batteries. I really like the battery indicator which lets you know how much

This is an excellent light for any outdoor adventure. This light has been with me on backpacking trips, climbing expeditions, and family car camping trips. It doesn't seem to burn through batteries too often and produces a surprisingly good amount of light. I like that it can either stand on it's own or be hung up. I've even used it at hove during power outages.
