Best harness I have ever used

by Walt P, Written on December 30, 2016
I have owned a singing rock harness, used a Momentum, Solution, and have the Arc'Teryx harnesses. Nothing beats this for weight, comfort while hanging, and ease of use. The Arc'Teryx, while lighter, doesn't have any padding, thus not being a great harness to hang in for extended periods of time. I love my Arc'Teryx for mountaineering or multipitch as it does have more room in the gear loops and has a smaller profile. This harness though is my go to for everyday TR, Trad, and Sport. Great for the Gym, although the Solution might be better unless you hang a lot. Great harness 5 stars.

I debated between this & the equivalent Arcteryx harnesses. Should have gone for the Arcteryx.

I purchased the medium size harness and although the waist was ok, the thigh straps were too tight for flexing my thigh muscles. I returned my harness in order to exchange it for a size large. Hopefully this will fit better. Will update post after I try out the large once I get in the mail.

This harness is great for several reasons:

1. It manages to be lightweight AND comfortable (usually it's one or the other) thanks to BD's "kinetic core construction.
2. The rear haul loop holds about 2700 lbs of force - enough to tow a small car - if that's what you're into.
4. The Speed adjust buckle makes being safe easy, and adjustments can be made with just one hand.
5. Light enough to be gre
