just put the rope to use yesterday and was happy with its performance. Measured its length right at 200' (other ropes I've had gave some extra length) and its got a very visible halfway mark which looks like it will last a long time. This is the thinnest rope I've used ( usually have 10.2) and noticed a few things. It feeds easily into the ATC, but with that comes less ability of the ATC to lock off the rope. I will now use a grigri for belaying as it seems safer, and will back up repels with a prussik which I normally don't do. Looks like i'll be getting safer in my old age. The rope handles nicely and so far doesn't kink very much.
