These trekking poles are bombproof!! they are heavier than some of their counterparts but they more than make up for this with durability and comfort. The handle on the poles is brilliant I really like the extended grip when climbing up over rocks and such without adjusting the length of the pole. The elliptical shafts look heavy and bulky but visual impressions are very wrong they pack well and w
