Amazing improvement - Black Diamond Distance Carbon Z Trekking Poles

Belovich's Review of Black Diamond Distance Carbon Z Trekking Poles
I have an earlier Black Diamond Z (Ultra Mountain Carbon) trekking pole (probably five years old). The new version I recently purchased (Distance Carbon Z) is truly remarkable. It is so enjoyable to watch a product improve with each model. It is a testament to the Black Diamond mission. The Distance Carbon Z poles are just as strong, but so much lighter, sleeker, and more collapsible. These traits are reflected in that the poles are thinner, the hand grips and straps are less bulky, and the stopper basket is smaller. On a recent lengthy hike, the poles were so feather-weight that their presence was practically indiscernible.
Pros:
strength, weight, packability
Cons:
NONE
Best Used for:
fast and light hiking, strenous backpacking
Would Recommend:
Yes
