Great update on Black Diamond by poles
Campsaver had a hot deal on poles but they were temporarily out of stock. No hurry since I was updating my old black diamond poles. It was a very good price. The restock was a couple weeks early. These poles are so much improved over my old ones. The FLZ poles are more compact and lighter. I did need to go online to watch (a couple times) how to ‘break them down”. Not rocket science I’m just a slow learner. Great Poles, great price and great service!

light weight solid trekking pole
I have used the Distance FLZ poles for several long distant hikes and trail running. They are light weight yet reliable. In the very beginning I had difficulty reading the instructions about how to open and collapse the poles. needed to find a video demonstration. But when you know the trick you can quickly open and collapse them on the run. The only drawback is the edge of new straps are sharp that cut into my hands and I have to wear gloves. It gets better after several uses.
