Great for long climbs, day hikes, non technical ski tours, etc.
It has a compartment for water bladder and ports/ strap for tubes.
The two small side pouches are handy for organization. Outer bungee holds extra clothing.
Seems that BD could sacrifice some of the ruggedness in construction for weight. It's not what I would call ULTRA light for the size, but a very useful small pack. No disapointmen
