Most Helpful Positive Review Light light but bright
I bought the Ion to replace an older heavier light in my camping gear. It is still on my desk because I find that I use it every night when I take my older Sheltie outside. He doesn't see as well as he once did and it helps him be a little more comfortable. A lot of light from a small unit.

I recently hiked three days on the AT and used this head lamp. The first problem was anything that swiped the lamp turned it on, the batteries were dead at the first stop. flimsy battery cover

i like everything about this little light except the battery plate. i broke the clip on it switching out batteries and now have duct tape holding it on. i would not buy this again nor recommend it until that design flaw is fixed.

Great little lamp

I've had this lamp for 2 yrs and it's been great. It's perfect for the ultra light backpack. I've taken it to Big Bend, Yellowstone, the Teton Crest Trail and Philmont. It's perfomed like a champ and I have only changed the battery once. I couldn't be happier.
