Black Diamond Jetforce Tour Pack 26L

by Rusty, Verified Owner from CO, United States Written on April 15, 2020
Very nice pack, clean, comfortable, does have cinch straps on the sides. I splitboard, and the diagonal carry is pretty much useless. You can use some voile straps to make a diagonal carry work, and even a snowboard carry, though I don't boot hike much so wasn't really a concern. Nice pack, nice size.
Pros:
  • Design
  • Storage
  • airbag
Cons:
  • no snowboard carry
  • diagonal carry useless
Best Used for:
  • skinning day trip
Would recommend: Yes

Great technology, bag a tad minimalistic

by JB, Verified Owner from CA, United States Written on March 3, 2019
The Alpride E1 techno is a game-changing technology. Reasonably light, easy to charge (USB makes it virtually free to sue) and long-lasting through its AA battery option, it makes it the most traveler-firefly option on the market. It really is a good piece of engineering. Tested it and the published spec seem close to the reality (at least in terms of battery life - charging with USB is longer than published though)
The bag itself is a bit minimalistic but does feature a ski-holder, ice-axe holder and helmet holder. AVY pocket is well conceived. Great for one to two-day trips, I wish there was an option for bigger bags. The technology is removable, which is quite promising for new bags to be made available on the market.
Bottom-line: Its a quantic change from the cartridge technology and makes it a safe, if not obvious choice for Any bag.
Pros:
  • lightweigh, quality design and workmanship
Cons:
  • Minimalistic bag
Best Used for:
  • 1 or 2 day trips
Would recommend: Yes
