This is a good bang for your buck shoe. Especially if you are just getting into climbing. I've been climbing in this shoe for a couple of months and it has held up well. It has good toe that is good for walls & slabs, however the shoe isn't very stiff so you get a lot of bend which I think holds this shoe back. The heel is nice and performs well on heel hooks. Overall I would say it is definitely worth it.
Pros:
- Cost effective
- Laces for desired fit
Best Used for:
- climbing both indoors and outdoors
- Beginner climber

I like the style and quality, but they just didn’t fit right for me. I went up a half size from what I would normally wear. I read many comments about how climbing shoes should fit, but I am siding with those who opt for comfort first. Otherwise I won’t bother with beginning to try climbing. These shoes just didn’t feel like the ones for me.

It took me a while to receive this shoes because of back order. Customer service agent quickly replied my inquiry of order status. This is my second pair of climbing shoes, i specially like the breathable fabric material, my feet did inot sweat that much. The size is smaller, I run size up 1.5 compared to my running shoes. It fits me perfectly.

Purchased the BD shoes to replace a 15 year old pair of 5.10 leather shoes that were still usable but the foam in the tongue turned to dust. The BD’s use a stiff last with good rubber. What set these shoes apart is the upper which is a unique knit with simple overlap and Velcro closure. Nicely done, simple and it works well. The toe box is narrow as are most climbing shoes, comfortable but certainly not an approach shoe last. They are climbing shoes. Used primarily at a rock gym. No problems and they preform well. Easy to loosen the Velcro when your feet need a break. Comfortable for a climbing shoe but advanced climbers wanting a more performance oriented shoe should look towards another model. A great shoe from BD considering the price of about $70 when on sale or using a coupon.
