Exactly what I needed. I’m 5’10” and the length is perfect. Not as light as carbon ones but for one day hike work really well. Color rocks and with camp saver discounts I got them at similar price than lower quality brands.

These are great poles. I used them on a 22 miler in Grand Gulch in southern Utah and they worked equally well in the sand, in the dirt and on the slickrock. I especially like the ease of adjustment and the strength of the locking mechanism. The cork grips are nice. I'm still trying to decide if I like the ergonomic angle of the grips. Overall, a great piece of gear.

Exactly as black diamond describes.
I am very happy with these.
They are my walking poles, skiing poles, my shelter poles, defense against wild dogs hah!
Strong enough, elliptical poles seem like a waste to me, extra weight when these round ones are well strong enough for me.
Love the cork handle, feels better than foam etc.
Easy as to use.
Strong.
