Hydro's Review of Black Diamond Trekking Pole Tip Protector
I use these with my BD Trail Ergo Cork poles when I'm in rocky areas.
There is a metal insert in the rubber for the metal tip of the poles to seat into. This keeps the pole from pushing all the way through the rubber.
