Sure it was a great deal ($110.00 70m double dry) on a rope that I've had before, but upon arrival I notice the manufactured date sticker on the end.... it reads Oct. 2011. Blue Water suggests that a rope be retired regardless of use after 5 years, primarily for concern of natural polymer degradation that can occur. Great rope, shady though on the part of Campsaver. I guess the memo is, be careful of what you buy on sale from Campsaver if it is something that has a shelf life.
