Great climbing rope

This BlueWater rope is excellent and have order a few of them. Would definitely re order in the future. The diameter of this rope is nice and feels good to the touch. Fast shipping too on getting it out to me.

Not sure what to think

Sure it was a great deal ($110.00 70m double dry) on a rope that I've had before, but upon arrival I notice the manufactured date sticker on the end.... it reads Oct. 2011. Blue Water suggests that a rope be retired regardless of use after 5 years, primarily for concern of natural polymer degradation that can occur. Great rope, shady though on the part of Campsaver. I guess the memo is, be careful of what you buy on sale from Campsaver if it is something that has a shelf life.
