I have been a "fan" of Bridgedale socks for outdoor applications for over a decade now. I even own a pair that I originally purchased 10 years ago. In all candor they are, like their owner, getting tired and old. They're still functional with no holes, unraveled yarn or open seems. Based on the long-lasting performance in some rather inhospitable settings I've purchased several pairs of hiking/back packing socks; all from Bridgedale and all from Camp Saver. I highly recommend both. Camp Saver for their great customer service and fair pricing and the socks because of their superior performance (including comfort).
