So far this shoe has performed well around town and on a few short hikes. I have used this brand before on my PCT hike in 2016. I like the aggressive sole for hiking trails. The fit was perfect. I will buy again for sure!

My son's passion is thru-hiking and the Brooks Cascadias remain his favorite Trail Runners. His trips are no joke, exceeding 2500 miles over 5 months. He's currently on the PCT, and he's gone through just two pairs of Cascadias, averaging 900 miles each. These shoes held up through the desert, multiple stream crossings, and the snow-covered high Sierras (with crampons) before needing to be replaced. I'm just about to mail him his last pair for the PCT at the 1900 mile mark! Happy Feet, Happy Hiking!
Pros:
durable, comfortable, long-lasting treads
Cons:
None
Best Used for:
Trail running, distance Trail hiking

These are the third pair of brooks cascadia I've owned. My last pair I wore until they literally started falling apart in the rain in Ireland. I don't know how many hundreds of miles I put on them, but they provide an extremely good value. They're comfortable, fit and feel nice, look good, traction is great and soles last forever. Highly recommended. I'm considering buying a backup pair of these black and orange 13's because they're the best looking ones I've had yet.
