Brunton Get-Back Mini GPS Home

Small and lightweight with 3 buttons. Comes with a lanyard, a USB x GPS port charger cord and instructions. Does not give you altitude. Can be used as a digital compass (i.e. displaying as "N" or "NNE" or "S" or "SSW" etc. with a small arrow) for rough direction. Will store up to 3 location points and give you distance (feet or meters) and an arrow straight to a stored point from current location. Very handy and simple. It can light up so you see it at night when you are "really lost".

  • Get back to a saved point

Camo bivy tent

FYI, The only issue is that this bivy tent is advertised at 2.2 lbs yet really weighs 2.5 lbs. The material used appears sound and is supposed to be waterproof but as yet untested. Camo pattern is standard.Unknown how long it will last/hold up.

  • Smallish, waterproof?
Cons:
  • Weighs more than advertised.

  • HIKING
