In the adobe double rip stop model, the front buckle hardware piece does not allow the cinch strap to go through; the strap is a thick, woven, patterned strip which cannot be adjusted in length while in the buckle. Hence, this top loader isn't. Inside contents can be accessed other ways, but why have a top loading pock when you can't access the top????
