Well built battery pack. Power to keep phones, GoPro's and GPS working while on the trail. Easily recharged with a Goal Zero solar panel (I have the foldable 20 model). Love that it is weatherproof and has a built in area light.
The Nomad 20 is built well, and works as promised (no solar panel matches the marketing specs for power output). I needed the direct DC 18 volt output, which most other manufactures do not offer. If only used for cell phones, etc., I would have looked at the RAV Power 15 or Ankor Power Lite for a much lower price. Goal Zero builds a top quality unit, but they command a top price for it. This unit charges my smartphone in less than 4 hours, and works with my DC charge regulator (also Goal Zero) for lead acid batteries.
It's a great stove, with great flame control. However, it is very loud unless you install a QuietStove burner (model 107) on it. Then it becomes a pleasure to use. That combo costs more than a Whisperlite, but the Dragonfly is a more robust stove for heavy use with bigger pots (for a family of 4).
