The PumpBag is super easy to use. Just attach it to the pad, open up the bag, fold over the end and push the air into the pad. You most often can fill the pad with one attempt. It's so much better then dealing with an electic pump or blowing air in it yourself. Nice!

Due to the multiple cells, you won't get flat spots from your heavier areas, meaning you can even sleep on your side without your hips touching the ground. It's a very comfortabe pad and is very easy to inflate. Be sure to also buy the Exped PumpBag.

I had been using the Coleman "Perfectflow" Fold N Go, which is a similar fold in half stove. However the Coleman had two settings being high flame and off. This JetBoil Genesis has multiple flame settings that actually work, so you can simmer foods. The supplied two light weight pots are great. The frying pan is ceramic coated with a light weight thick plastic lid. I love the folding handle on the frying pan, as it does not get hot. I also like how the large pot sits over the grates, as the pot goes around them so that it won’t slide off.
This is in no way scientific, but I originally tested how fast it boils water:
• 45 degrees out
• 10 cups of tap water (pot was about half full)
• Water at 61 degrees (I used an electric meat thermometer)
• Lid was placed on pot
• Turned stove up to high
Results:
• Water temperature at about five minutes: 170 degrees
• At six minutes: 212 and climbing

This storage bag is perfect for the Genesis Cooking System, as it’s not too tight, the material is easy to clean, handle is comfortable, and it's water resistant. It’s the bag you want to protect your investment. It’s also roomy enough to include for example a spatula, etc.

The non-stick ceramic coating is great ... nothing sticks to it so it's easy to wash (or even just wipe it out). The pan is light weight, heats up fast, and the handle does not get hot and also folds around the pan for easy storage. It's now my favorite fry pan! I use mine with the Genesis Basecamp.

In the past I've had several backpacker style pads which I didn't like as my heaviest spots tended to touch the ground due to being one big air chamber. I gave those away, and I then upgraded to thicker pads that were even self inflating. However they were a bear to deflate and roll up, plus they were larger then many tents when rolled up! So I saw these Exped Syncelmats that have a quilt-like top, and with the individual air pockets, they really do a nice job supporting! I can't tell that I'm on the ground actually when laying on the pad. Plus the top side is a fabric instead of being plastic so their quieter when laying on. Great purchase for lighter sleeping pads!
Also, combined with the Exped pump bag, it’s super quick to inflate and as well deflate. The pad has a valve with a deflating “pin”. Very nice design.
