Portability and My Favorite Grips

Leki Micro Vario Ti COR-TEC Trekking Poles
Leki Corklites have been my favorites for years, but they didn't pack well for travel. Micro Vario solves this problem with clever folding system that retains adjustability and is very quick to assemble or fold. I also like the included carrying bag.
The Micro Vario feels quite similar to my Cork Lite, and I particularly like the range of possible grips. It feels equally sturdy though the joints of the Micro Vario make it a slightly more noisy than the Cork Lite. Also there is considerably less range of adjustment. However, the convenience of more compact storage makes up for these minor short comings.
I expect to use these for air travel (in checked baggage), to carry in/on a day pack, or just to more conveniently stow them for road trips.
