My girlfriend has the Jr. version of this sleeping pad (she's short) and she's had great luck with it. I've recently purchased this full sized version for my mom, who is looking to camp out with us over the summer. I've tried it out and I'm not disappointed. It packs down to a very small size and it blows up with relative ease, although maybe more effort is required than my mom may like. I was still able to inflate it in less than a minute, but I'm young, so what can I say? Comfort level is comparable to most sleeping pads. It feels best if you sleep on your back, but also seems fine if you're a side sleeper. It's not quite as thick as my thermarest, but it's also smaller and MUCH cheaper, so it should be perfect for what we need it for. At $34 I have no complaints.
I purchased these mainly to use inside my sleeping bag/top quilt when I'm overnighting in my tent or hammock in the winter. Unfortunately, I received these a few days after I got back from my last overnight hike, so I didn't get to test them in the field yet. I will say that they fit comfortably. I wear a men's 10.5 shoe or an 11 in boots and I ordered a size large (I have room to fit a thick wool sock with ease). They come with a little stuff sack which is nice for packing purposes. They're very lightweight, but the sole feels durable and they definitely warm my feet up. I've been using these around the house and I have a feeling they will serve me well on my next trip.
