I'm always nervous when it comes to buying button down tops, because I am tall, have a long torso, broad shoulders, and long arms... but this flannel by Outdoor Research is Amazing! First, the material is incredibly soft and is a good lighter to medium weight flannel, which does well on its own or with layering. The colors looked like a candy cane to me online, but in person, it is a very warm, creamy beige with cute pops of color in the kelly green and coral pink stripes. The length of the shirt is longer than most, which works well for me, but may be a tad long if you're shorter. What impressed me the most is that there are pockets! On either side of your hips, there are hand pockets, one open pocket and one with a zipper, which is perfect for chapstick or other essentials you don't want falling out while on the trail or wearing it around town.

For sizing: I am 5'10" tall, 37" chest, 29" waist, and 39" hips. The Large fits me perfectly, including the sleeves!

I've worn this top in Alaska during the winter to several breweries and trips around town. I live in New Mexico and have worn it out and about as well. I look forward to taking it with me on an upcoming hiking trip and think it will be a great piece to wear as the weather is warming up, but it's not summer yet. All-in-all this top is beautiful, functional, and fits me well!

I have never purchased a product by KAVU, so I wasn't sure what to expect with this sweater. But I was soooo impressed when I unwrapped it from the packaging. The material is extremely soft and luxurious feeling. The blue lapis color is incredibly beautiful in person and honestly would make anyone's skin radiate. Besides the beautiful exterior, however, I was most impressed with the quality of the sweater. It is lined with a medium gray almost jersey/merino feeling fabric that truly insulates the sweater as well as makes it super soft against your skin. Sometimes, when you buy a "fuzzy" sweater, you just get the fuzzy fabric... but this Alberta sweater by KAVU really went above and beyond to provide an inner lining that seems like quality fabric. The overall fit of the sweater is just like any crew neck sweater, with a nice banded waist that lays nicely on my hips. I am 5'10", 160lbs, 29" waist at the navel and 39" hips; I ordered a large because I have broad shoulders and an athletic build. The large was perfect! My only gripe, which is why this sweater has 4 out of 5 stars, is that the arms are just a touch on the shorter side. It really isn't bad or a problem, but I wanted to put that out there for people to know. All in all this sweater is incredibly well made, it's beautiful, it's unique, and it's warm and cozy so you'll be wearing it when you study, go camping, etc.
