I bought this tent because it is lightweight. The very first time I put the pole through the top, I tore a hole in it. It is also very difficult to pack back in the bag. I took the tent down to Joshua tree for a week, where it snowed. The tent did keep the snow out, but because the ground was frozen, I had trouble getting the stakes in and ended up tying cordlette to the picnic table to keep the tent upright. This is the first non-freestanding tent that I've owned, so I think there is going to be an adjustment period. As for size, it would be VERY tight for two people. I was car camping as a single person and it was fine, but this wouldn't be my first choice for a tent if I was backpacking with another person and our gear was going to need to be protected from the elements.
