Lightweight--Breathable--Stylish

Written on Oct 25, 2017

Wear these glove during the fall when outdoors for long periods of time(4-6hrs) in temps that range from 40-55degrees during windy days these glove really excel, they don't overheat your hands ever, like most gore windstopper gloves, they fit great and are also very durable whether worn casually or when hiking in semi rough terrain, not waterproof but dry amazing quicker than other gloves i've worn in the past.

And they are not windproof like most people imagine or believe when purchasing anything advertised as having this ability.

But they work extremely well at keeping your hands comfy when running or anything motion related exercise etc, they won't and did not keep me warm when stationery not moving around outside in temps under 45degees on windy days.

I got these in black and ultramarine, sizing is tough for me when it comes to Mammut gloves and some other apparel. I like the fit overall in these with a size 8, a little room in finger length, but i tried these in a size 7 and they were extremely tight and fit a bit too tight around my wrists and when making a fist seemed to tight.

I usually wear a Small or Medium in gloves when purchased in the usa (Sizing chart)

35-55 degrees this jacket rules PERIOD>>

Purchased in Large, which i usually go with when purchasing Mammut Jackets as they run a tad smaller than what i'm used to seeing available from other companies who sell products in the usa but are based overseas like mammut who stick with euro sizes more or less.

Jacket is superb materials, very elegant design, simple and nice fitting when wearing thin layers of clothing underneath, i'm 5'8 and weight 135lbs. The Medium jacket was way too tight for my comfort zone when wearing particular clothing underneath this jacket.

Fit is in between regular and athletic fit, which is somewhat rare but fits great on me.. Wish mammut would offer more jackets in this particular fit.

I can wear a midweight baselayer and this jacket and be comfortable in temps that range from 35 to 50 degrees and remain very warm as long as i'm active. a thick heavyweight base layer and this jacket and i'm fine in those temps outside.

I love this jacket and just about every jacket i've bought from Mammut over the past 3yrs.. I usually wait for jackets from last season to go on sale before buying, unless i want it and accept to pay a premium price, due to the high quality and long lasting outdoor quality jackets Mammut has available.
