White Box Next Generation Alcohol Stove
I have owned this stove for about a year and have used it about a dozen or more times. As far as lightweight backpacking, it doesn't get any better than this in my opinion. The stove is sturdy and strong so I don't worry about it taking a hard ride in the pack. It boils water really fast and is silent. Read the instructions and take care while operating because once the alcohol gets burning it doe

Light My Fire Spork
Tough to really go wrong with such a cheap little backpacking utensil. I weighed my various backpacking spoons and forks and this is the lightest weight one I have. If you eat out of dehydrated meal bags frequently you might want the larger model so you don't have to shove your hand down in the bag but I usually eat from my pot so this is perfect.
