the base camp pro worked great for 3 hikers on Cumberland Island, Georgia. Water had to be filtered and the taste/taste was rotten eggs. The base camp with an optional charcoal filter made the water taste great. Having to carry water over a mile to the camp, the capacity of the base camp to supply 10 liters at a time was helpful. Sure beats pumping for three for sure. Filters fast too. Highly recommend.
