I just received this product and took it out for a trial this past weekend in hot ( high 90's) Houston, Texas. I used a mixture of half ice, half water and put it in my bike holder and off I went. 35 minutes later, I took a swig and it was ice cold. One hour later I took a swig and it was cold and still refreshing. One hour and 20 minutes later, it was still cool. Given the foregoing, I think it did a pretty good job.
