I'm a short guy with broad chest (5'6, chest 40"). The vest fit just right for me! But I can see that being a bit baggy for a normal small size vest if you're looking for a trim fit. The build quality is awesome, and provide plenty of warmth. Normally use this during winter running, and a mid layer during winter hiking under by shell.
